Refund policy

At MIL101, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you're not happy with your order, we're here to help.

Your Right to Change Your Mind

If you purchased your sunglasses online, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

You then have a further 14 days to return the item to us.

To qualify for a full refund, the sunglasses must be:

  • Unworn and unused
  • In their original condition
  • Returned with all original packaging, including any protective case, cleaning cloth and tags (where applicable)

Refunds will be processed using your original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned item, or sooner if proof of postage is provided.

Returns Outside the 14 Day Cancellation Period

We understand that circumstances can change. Returns requested after the statutory cancellation period may be accepted at our discretion. Please contact our customer service team before sending any items back.

Faulty or Damaged Items

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, all products sold by MIL101 must be:

  • Of satisfactory quality
  • Fit for purpose
  • As described

If your sunglasses arrive damaged, faulty, or develop a manufacturing fault, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and photographs of the issue.

If the product is confirmed to be faulty, you will be entitled to an appropriate remedy, which may include:

  • A repair
  • A replacement
  • A full or partial refund, depending on when the fault occurs and your statutory rights

This does not cover accidental damage, misuse, normal wear and tear, scratches caused after delivery, or damage resulting from improper care.

Items That Cannot Be Returned

For hygiene and quality reasons, we cannot accept returns where:

  • The sunglasses have been worn or damaged after delivery.
  • The product has been altered in any way.
  • Original packaging is missing where this affects the resale value of the product.

This does not affect your statutory rights if the item is faulty.

Return Shipping

Unless the item is faulty or sent in error, customers are responsible for the cost of returning their order.

We recommend using a tracked postal service, as MIL101 cannot accept responsibility for items lost during transit back to us.

Exchanges

We do not currently offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different style or colour, please return your original order for a refund (if eligible) and place a new order.

How to Start a Return

To arrange a return, please contact our customer support team with:

  • Your full name
  • Order number
  • Reason for the return

We will provide you with the return instructions and return address.

Refund Processing

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.

Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 14 days.

Depending on your bank or card provider, it may take a few additional working days for the funds to appear in your account.


This policy does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
